Stop animating paragraphs of text

I have criticized annoying design practices resulting from vibe coding websites. I want to highlight one: fade-in animated text on scroll, highlight or page load, especially for what should be undecorated paragraphs of text.

There is simply no reason to do this. Do not do it. It makes your text less readable. It makes it harder to skim and is aesthetically very tasteless. It adds nothing. I do not know why AI tools do this, I guess because some people think it adds "gloss." It doesn't add gloss. If your website's content is primarily text, it doesn't need to move. Books don't move. Magazines don't need greeting-card style pop ups to keep you engaged. Just keep things simple: text is text. It should be static.
